Bank Sohar extends support to Oman Hereditary Blood Disorder Association


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Bank Sohar in its effort to ensure the continued well-being of the community and as part of its ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility programme has extended its support to the Oman Hereditary Blood Disorder Association (OHBDA) for the first time.

The support was made in order to assist the association in providing essential medical equipment for its members.

The cheque with for the donation amount was handed over to Salaam al Kindy financial controller and board member of OHBDA by Munira Abdulnabi Macki DGM human resources and corporate support at Bank Sohar's headquarters in CBD with the presence of Mazin al Raisi AGM marketing and publicity.

Commenting on the bank's contribution Munira said 'Promoting awareness about complicated health issues such as hereditary blood disorders within the community is vital. At Bank Sohar we are always on the lookout for such organization and exert our best efforts to ensure that they have the resources required to keep operating at peak efficiency. Oman Hereditary Blood Disorder Association played significant progress since its inception in raising awareness and supporting members of the community on issues related to hereditary blood disorders.  We are truly honoured to be able to support OHBDA and would like to applaud them for their continuous efforts in educating the community on such a prevalent health issue.'
