NATO's Mediterranean Dialogue opens in Amman


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency)  Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs, Nasser Judeh, on Tuesday, said Jordan and the NATO maintain strategic and long-standing relationship, asserting that the Kingdom will work to further develop cooperation and coordination with the alliance.

Speaking at the opening of a forum that brought together the ambassadors of member nations in the NATO's Mediterranean Dialogue, Judeh said the event is another step in partnership and cooperation between Jordan and the alliance, highlighting the Kingdom's participation in the NATO's mission in the Balkan, Kosovo, Libya and Afghanistan.

The minister spoke a number of Middle East issues including, Syria, peacemaking efforts between the Palestinians and Israel and the fight against terrorism. He underlined the Kingdom's counter-terrorism and extremism efforts.
