Argentine stocks fall 7.28% on oil slide

(MENAFN- AFP) The Buenos Aires stock exchange fell 7.28 percent in afternoon trading Tuesday, dragged down by falling oil prices that hit new five-year lows.

On a gloomy day for equities worldwide, 50 out of 53 stocks were down on the main Argentine index, which tumbled to 8,882.97 points, led down by state oil firm YPF and Brazil's Petrobras.
