Singapore's home prices drop 1.1 percent in November


(MENAFN) According to data released by the Singapore Real Estate Exchange (SRX), the country's home prices dropped by 1.1 percent in November, Xinhua reported.

Compared to a year ago, prices of non-landed private homes dipped 3.4 percent, while compared to the recent peak in January 2014, prices have dropped 6.3 percent.

The resale prices for private homes in the core central region fell 0.1 percent, while the rest of central region and outside central region both decreased 1.3 percent.

However, the number of transactions dropped sharply by 22.4 percent in November, with an estimated 388 units resold, down from the 500 transacted units in October.
