Germany's Lufthansa to launch services to Iran


(MENAFN) According to Iranian Ambassador in Berlin, German airlines Lufthansa announced its willingness to overhaul Iranian passenger planes, Iran Daily reported.

Five direct flights between the nations will be launched by the end of January 2015, including two flights between Tehran and Berlin, two between Tehran and Dusseldorf and one between Mashhad and Dusseldorf.

"We have recently received a letter from Lufthansa voicing its willingness and readiness to overhaul Iranian passenger planes," the ambassador was quoted as saying by Fars News Agency.
