Euro slips lower following German industrial production

(MENAFN– ecpulse)

The euro edged lower against the dollar on Monday affected by the German industrial production data released today.

Data showed that German industrial production rose just 0.2% in October, lower than expectations, and fuelled concerns over the outlook for fourth quarter growth.

The euro will extended its downtrend waiting to pick up any signal from the European Central Bank about the troubled euro zone economy, and its stimulus plans.

The euro dropped 0.21% against the dollar at 08:52 GMT, trading around 1.2259 compared with the entry level 1.2286.
