(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, arrived in New York City for a three-day visit, the first to be paid to the city by the royal figures, it was officially announced.
Prince William, the second in line to the throne, will head to Washington DC to attend the International Corruption Hunters Alliance conference, according to the Kensington Palace itinerary. He will be delivering a speech on corruption surrounding the illegal wildlife trade. He will also meet US President Barack Obama.
While in New York City, the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge will be accompanied by the New York City First Lady Chirlane McCray to visit the Northside Center for Child Development in Harlem.
After the return of Prince William, the couple will tour the National September 11 Memorial Museum.
They will attend other events scheduled during their visit such as the St. Andrews 600th Anniversary Dinner at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
