450 Trucks Enter Gaza Strip
(MENAFN- QNA) The Israeli occupation authorities decided Monday to open the Karam Abu Salem crossing to allow the entry of 450 truckloads with goods for the commercial, agricultural and transportation sectors.
Head of the Coordination Committee for entry of goods in the Gaza Strip Raed Fattouh said that the Israeli side will allow the entry of 100 truckloads with gravel for roads' infrastructure.
Quantities of diesel for Gaza power plant and transportation as well as gasoline and cooking gas will also be pumped.
The Karam Abu Salem is the only commercial crossing operating in Gaza for the entry of goods and fuel and the occupation authorities close it on Friday and Saturday of each week.
