(MENAFN- QNA) Sudanese President Omar Al Basheer expressed Saturday his appreciation to the role the leadership in Qatar is playing to establish peace and stability in Sudan.
The Sudanese president thanked the State of Qatar and its leadership for continuing to invest in Sudan, particularly in the field of tourism. He added that such investment will play a role in attracting tourists to Sudan. It will also help create job opportunities and other projects related to tourism, Al Basheer added.
The Sudanese President also said that the Qatari investments prompted the government to establish a free-trade zone in Al Marawi city, which will host a shopping complex, in addition to other projects related to the field of tourism to support the Sudanese national economy and attract more investment.
