(MENAFN- ProactiveInvestors) Boiler efficiency firm Sabien Technology () is developing more "Tech Centres" to drive sales.
The company has already established a presence in Beijing and Shanghai and has plans to spread elsewhere in China by developing an international network of distribution partners.
"The Tech Centre partner company will have to demonstrate a competence in commercial boilers and be currently offering energy efficiency solutions as part of their product and service suite” said Sabien chief executive Alan O’Brien.
O'Brien acknowledged that protecting intellectual property is always a concern when doing business in China but said that Sabien's technology is so specialised that it "isn't on the radar for organised theft" at least in comparison to high end luxury goods and consumer electronic staples.
“Since February 2014 Sabien has set up Tech Centre agreements for China the US France Germany Italy Netherlands Lebanon India South Africa Mauritius Middle East Region UAE Australia and Singapore" the Sabien boss noted.
“We anticipate further Tech Centre agreements will be in place by the company’s financial year end (June 2015) including Bulgaria Chile Czech Republic Hong Kong Hungary Indonesia Japan Korea Malaysia New Zealand Poland Taiwan and Turkey" he added.
