Next generation of Kia Optima on schedule for 2015

04 December 2014: The updated Optima will feature a more modern design a more luxurious cabin and a choice of petrol diesel plug in hybrid and hybrid powertrains. The Korean firm has concentrated on improving the quality of its interior and plans to develop an Optima Estate specifically for the European market. The current Optima was released in 2011 and is the third generation model previously badged as the Kia Magentis. It is available with a six speed manual or automatic transmission and with petrol diesel and hybrid powertrains.

The Sorento SUV Venga compact MPV and Rio supermini will also receive new looks for next year which were unveiled in October at the Paris Motor Show. The firm is also planning some new model releases over the next few years including a GT sports car and two new compact and supermini SUVs.
