Chinese Airlines to cut fuel surcharges on domestic flights


(MENAFN) Some Chinese airlines including Tianjin Airlines (GS), Xiamen Airlines (MF) and Hainan Airlines (HU) decided to cut fuel surcharges on domestic flights for the fourth consecutive month, QNA reported.

The fuel surcharges levied on domestic routes with a flight range of less than 800 kilometers will be reduced by USD1.62 to USD4.88 per leg, effective December 5, while the extra fees for longer flights will be cut by USD1.62 at USD9.77 per leg.

The fuel surcharges for flights shorter than (including) 800 kilometers will be cut from USD3.25 to USD1.62 per leg, while the extra fees for longer flights will be unchanged at USD4.88 per leg, the Chinese airlines added.
