UAE, Kyrgyzstan bilateral trade hits USD119.5m in 9M


(MENAFN) The UAE announced that the total value of the bilateral trade with Kyrgyzstan has reached USD227.8 million, with Kyrgyzstan's export to UAE reaching USD222 million, while the total imports from UAE hit USD5.8 million, Gulf News reported.

During the January-September period of 2014, the total trade between Kyrgyzstan and UAE amounted to USD119.5 million and increased by 3.1 times, including Kyrgyzstan export to UAE, which reached $115.4 million while the Kyrgyzstan imports from UAE reached USD4.2 million, registering an increase by 9.1 percent.

Kyrgyzstan's major imports from UAE are different foods, paints, varnishes, soap, detergents, equipment, mechanical devices for industry and parts, vehicles and parts, and medical instruments, while Kyrgyzstan's main exports to UAE are gold, jet fuel, canned meat and cereal, plastic products, and engines.
