Asry invests USD1m on new facility
(MENAFN) Bahrain's Asry, the ship and rig repair yard, announced that Sultan, a specialist contractor, opened a new USD1 million facility at its onsite workshop, Gulf Daily News reported.
Sultan said that the new facility will provide repair and engineering services pertaining to refrigeration, air-conditioning, mechanical, electrical and plumbing and electromechanical works on-board vessels.
Asry said that the new facility will help the shipyard in becoming leading yard in the region for onsite specialist contractor, by offering greatly improved local services to both Asry and their growing international clientele who utilize the yard for repairs and upgrades
"To stay ahead in our very competitive market, Asry is constantly improving its offering to clients, and an integral part of that is partnering with other firms. The design of the facility allows for extended work spaces and advanced working environments for various workshops," Asry Chief Executive said.
