(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) A man was killed and 17 others injured on Wednesday when a bomb car targeted the residence of the Iranian Ambassador in Sanaa, Ministry of Interior said in a statement. Ali Al-Idrisi, son of the guard of the Iranian ambassador's house, was killed and those wounded were transferred to nearby hospitals, the statement added.
The ambassador was not inside his residence when the blast took place, it said, adding that there are ongoing investigations into the incident.
The blast caused heavy damage in the houses and cars in the quarter, the statement pointed out.
