(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon expressed "outrage" over the terrorist attack in Mogadishu Wednesday morning, which killed and injured several Somali bystanders and security personnel.
Ban conveyed, in a statement, his deep condolences to the families of those killed and wished the injured a swift recovery.
There were no UN staff amongst the casualties.
The UN chief emphasized that there can be no justification for terrorism or such attacks, and reaffirmed the UN's strong commitment to working with the people and Government of Somalia to help rebuild peace and prosperity for all Somalis.
