Saudi- AEC completes Northrop Grumman quality audit
(MENAFN- Arab News) Northrop Grumman presented Advanced Electronic Company (AEC) a certificate recognizing AEC implementation of and adherence to a 'robust and mature' quality management system.
Northrop Grumman executives Dan Verwiel sector vice president and general manager integrated air and missile defense and Walid Abukhaled chief executive Saudi Arabia presented the certificate to AEC management last month. The certificate follows a successful supplier assessment audit and is a major step toward qualification as an approved supplier for future work with Northrop Grumman.
The certificate acknowledges AEC's strong management commitment to Quality Management System process. It also recognizes the implementation of a strong training program with automated training records system; continued use of program risk registers; mature production processes in use and continually improved; well established engineering design and product development processes and procedures; robust purchasing system including requirements generation flow-down inspection and acceptance supplier evaluation and monitoring processes; and open and continual communication flow between management and employees.
'Quality is the cornerstone of our business and fundamental to our culture of performance and we extend that commitment to our supply chain in Saudi Arabia and around the world' said Abukhaled. 'We look forward to continuing to develop strong partner relationships that enable our customers' missions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.'
