Bahrain's Almoayyed, Dutch KAAL sign MoU

(MENAFN) Bahrain-based Almoayyed Trading and Contracting, a division of Almoayyed International Group, announced it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Netherlands-based firm KAAL Masten BV for the promotion of solar-based street panels in Bahrain, Gulf Daily News reported.

Almoyyed said that the newly developed solar panels will help in taking advantage of the abundant sunshine in the Middle East, by helping in lighting up street lights, roundabouts, car parks, petroleum fields, industrial plants and public parks, thus saving energy costs for the region.

The company said it hopes that it will be able to promote the solar masts, which are developed in a way that makes them do not need electricity, cables and road-cutting to be implemented.

'We have long had a vision to integrate our technology into the solar module to make it easier to implement smart systems which would help us to achieve the government vision of green energy projects in Bahrain,' Almoayyed International Group Vice-chairman and Managing Director said.
