Oman's Tamani to invest USD233m on Palm Mall project


(MENAFN) Tamani International Development and Investment Company announced that the total cost of its project, the Palm Mall Muscat, scheduled to be implemented at one stage, has reached USD232.992 million, Times of Oman reported.

The project, which name is inspired from one of the elements of the Omani identity, is expected to include the biggest entertainment city in the Sultanate, as well as a number of early learning and entertainment centers for different ages and the 1st Ice village in the country.

The 100% Omani project will also include 12 cinema halls provided with the latest display technologies, 70 hotel apartments connected with the main commercial center and spaces for restaurants and caf" shops, with expectations that the complex will provide between 2000 and 2500 jobs.

The company said that it expects that the project, which is expected to be completed within 24-30 months, will help with the growth of the national economy by attracting tourists due to its proximity to Muscat International Airport.
