Saudi RCJY signs USD53.19m contracts for infrastructure projects


(MENAFN) The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY) announced it has signed two contracts for the development of several infrastructure projects in Yanbu industrial city, as well as signing another contract for the providing of engineering studies for the development of essential facilities in the industrial and residential areas in Jubail Industrial City, at a combined cost of USD53.19 million, Arab News reported

The Commission said that it has signed the first contract with China Harbor Company Engineering Arabia Ltd. for the construction and development of Al-Meena Street in Yanbu Industrial City, in a project which will be implemented in a two-year period.

Meanwhile, the second contract was signed with Nasser Abdullah Abu Sarhad Foundation for school transportations for all cities in Yanbu City, while the third contract was signed with Imar Urban Consultants, which is expected to provide designs for the construction work in developing the coastal line in Jubail Industrial City, in a project that is expected to take 5 years to be done.
