Spain's new car sales up 17.4 percent in November


(MENAFN) Spain's car organizations reported that sales of new cars in the country have increased by 17.4 percent in November compared to the same period a year ago, Xinhua reported.

The Association of Car Manufacturers, the Federation of Associations of Dealers of the Automotive sector and the Association of Car Dealers said 65,122 new cars were purchased in November.

Purchases made by individuals reached 41,425 units in November, 12.2 percent more than a year earlier, while purchases made by firms reached 19,792 cars, 23.4 percent more than a year earlier.

Meanwhile, a total of 781,868 new cars were purchased in the first 11 months of the year, which meant an 18.1 percent increase compared with the same period in 2013.
