Mauritanian President Meets with Deputy President of the SDF


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency)  President Mohammed Wild Abdulaziz of Mauritania met in Nouakchott today with visiting Deputy President of the Saudi Development Fund (SDF) Eng. Yousef bin Ibrahim Al-Bassam.
Following the meeting, Al-Bassam said he conveyed to the President the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, noting that his visit to Mauritania is to follow-up the progress of SDF's projects in Mauritania, signing an agricultural project loan agreement worth $34 million and reviewing a study on the aspects of cooperation between SDF and Mauritania.
On the other hand, Al-Bassam co-signed with Mauritania's Minister of Economic Affairs and Development Sidi Wild Al-Tah an agreement upon which SDF provides SR127.50 million worth of a loan to finance Arkiz agricultural project which aims at reclaiming 2200 Hectares of arable land and rehabilitation of 1000 Hectares in the western basin of the country.
