St. Charles Missouri: On Saturday December 6th over one thousand people will gather for a candlelight vigil at Ben Rau Memorial Garden in Blanchette Park St. Charles MO.  Beginning at 7pm Debbie Cochran Executive Director of Share will welcome over a thousand attendees and a beautiful memorial service will take place. Share Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support Inc. hosts this annual event in conjunction with Bereaved Parents of the USA AMEND SIDS Resources and Mercy Heartprints.

The Candlelight Vigil provides an opportunity for families and friends who have experienced the loss of a child to gather and remember their loved ones during the holiday season.  Attendees are asked to bring an enclosed candle to light during the ceremony as well as a white flower to place at the base of the Angel.

The Angel of Hope is a memorial to loved ones who have died before birth in infancy or childhood. Richard Paul Evans introduced it to the world in his worldwide bestselling novel The Christmas Box. Each year on December 6th thousands of people come together at nearly 100 Angel Monuments across the nation to participate in similar ceremonies.
