OriginOil's Electro Water Separation(TM) technology offers a high-speed chemical-free process that efficiently extracts oils suspended solids insoluble organics and bacteria from frac flowback and produced water for reuse. OOIL has successfully demonstrated a 1000-barrel-per-day commercial-capacity system with frac flowback and produced water for a disposal site in Delta CO. The technology coupled with an infiltration membrane system from TriSep Corporation removed 99.8% of turbidity 100% of suspended solids and 99.2% of oil from the water.
Why’s This Important
Beyond the obvious reason of the positive environmental ramifications the process is very novel and its unique ability to efficiently remove waste and other solids from water (especially in fracking) has caught global attention. In fact just before the close of October the company was granted an international patent in China for its EWS technology and furthermore the Company’s technology has recently caught the attention of AlJazeera America.

Earlier this month Al Jazeera America aired the worldwide broadcast of its TechKnow series "Cleaning up the fracking mess". For this show Al Jazeera spent several hours at OriginOil headquarters discussing how OOIL helps clean up very large quantities of contaminated water efficiently and without using chemicals.
Now while Al Jazeera America doesn't yet have huge presence in the US it does reach 250 million homes worldwide! That means huge penetration for OOIL's story in places like Asia and the Middle East where the Company has learned demand is high and adoption rapid.
The Effect On OriginOil
This should bode well for the companies that Origin’s constituents have already gained interest from including potential licensees through Industrial Systems Inc. new clients in Trinidad and Tobago as well as additional Middle East based companies who’ve become aware of the recent 7-figure deal that OriginOil signed with Yasser Al Barami Chief Commercial Officer of Gulf Energy. Keep in mind that OriginOil hasn’t been promoting its technology all that long and now they not only have 7-figure deals in the bag but the Company has also gained an incredible amount of attention on a Global Scale.
As AlJazeera produce Stephanie Becker wrote one day Origin’s clean frack water will be able to grow that lemon tree to turn lemons into lemonade after turning dirty frack water into a clean and most importantly usable hydration source.
