Oman to Host Asian Bankers Association Conference


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Muscat November 16 (QNA) - Oman's Bank Muscat will host a prestigious Asia-Pacific banking conference. The 31st Asian Bankers Association (ABA) general meeting and conference will be held on November 19th and 20th in Muscat.

The event takes added significance as it is the first time the ABA is organizing its annual conference in the Middle East will present 100 leading bankers and bank regulators from around the Asia-Pacific region according to a press statement issued by Bank Muscat today.

The ABA conference will focus on the theme "Asian Banks: Reinventing the Modern-Day Silk Route". Discussions will highlight the need for today's Asian banks to seek innovation in products and channels while strengthening their operating model to become leaner faster and more efficient in order to succeed in today's marketplace.
