King of Morocco Meets US Vice President
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Rabat November 20 (QNA) - Moroccan King Mohammed VI met Wednesday with US Vice President Joe Biden who is currently visiting Morocco to take part in the 5th Global Entrepreneurship Summit.
During the meeting they discussed ways to strengthen the strategic partnership between Morocco and the United States and regional and international issues especially the situation in the Sahel and the Middle East as well as the Arab-Israeli conflict.
A statement issued by the Moroccan Royal Court said that the decision of holding the Global Entrepreneurship Summit in Marrakech came during a visit by King Mohammed VI to Washington in November 2013.
This summit is set to put innovation as a major source of competitiveness by encouraging the establishment of a strategy for inclusive growth.
The statement added that the Summit is also part of the willingness of the Moroccan King and US President to develop a strategic triangular cooperation in Africa particularly in the fields of access to energy and food security. (QNA)
