(MENAFN- QNA) The Arab League hosted today the Executive Board of the Euro-Arab Environment Organization (EAEO) meeting on experts' level, chaired by Dr. Saleh Mohamed Almuzaini, President of Euro-Arab Environment Organization (EAEO) with participation of a number of experts and specialists to discuss issues related to the environment.
Dr. Almuzaini said that the meeting seeks to carry out a number of projects that serve the environment in thr Arab countries in addition to the establishment of EAEO consultative environment regional offices.
For his part, Dr.Tariq Al Obaid, secretary general of EAEO said that the meeting also discussed standards that should be available in the Arab capital environment , saying the Council of Arab Ministers Responsible For the Environment (CAMRE) at its last meeting in Jeddah decided the next year to be a year of the Arab capital environment .
Participants at the meeting decided to grant the EAEO's award to the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, on the occasion of his honor by the United Nations as a humanitarian leader.
