Dubai — His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai attended the CEN 120 Km Endurance Ride at the Emirates International Endurance Village in Al Wathba Abu Dhabi on Saturday.
The race was also attended by Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Crown Prince of Dubai; Shaikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance; Shaikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan Deputy National Security Advisor and a number of top officials and a big crowd.
Top rider Mansour Saeed Mohammed Al Faresi astride his 10-year-old gelded Anglo Arab Fenwick Tryst led a 1-2-3 sweep of the grueling event. Trained by Ismail Mohammed Abdul Rehman on behalf of the MRM Stables in Dubai the winner had covered the distance in 4 hours 12 minutes and 54 seconds at an average speed of 28.74km/hour. Shaikh Hamed Dalmook Juma Al Maktoum came second onboard 11-year-old Anglo Arab gelding Printemps De Marot and behind them finished Rashed Ahmed Al Bloushi aboard 10-year-old Arab gelding Rivergum Drifter.
The race was held under the directives of Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club and organised by the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club.
