Jordanian King Meets with Delegation from British House of Commons


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency)  Jordan's King Abdullah II met with a delegation from the British House of Commons on Sunday that comprised members of The Council for Arab-British Understanding, CAABU, and the All Party-Parliamentary Jordan group led by MP Crispin Blunt.
The meeting focused on ways to boost cooperation and friendship between the two countries in various fields, as well as the latest developments in the Middle East, Jordan News Agency (Petra) reported.
King Abdullah II reiterated Jordan's supportive stance of efforts that aim to achieve a just and comprehensive peace in the region, leading to the establishment of an independent and viable Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, in line with the two-state solution, international legitimacy resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
