Swiss voters reject sharp immigration cuts

(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency)  A majority of Swiss voters on Sunday opted
against drastic limits on immigration that would have put the
country's relations with the European Union at risk, dpa reported.

According to projections, 74 per cent of those participating in
Sunday's referendum voted 'no' on reducing net immigration to fewer
than 17,000 people a year.
