(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Mitsubishi represented in Oman by the General Automotive Company is once again set to take centre stage at the 2014 edition of the Motor Show Oman to be held at the Oman International Exhibition Centre from December 2 to 5.
With eight different cars on display and decorated in its trademark colours of red and white with giant tri-diamond logos adorning the edges the Mitsubishi exhibition stand will be a real display of the brand's automotive strength and diversity.
Commenting on the brand's participation at the show Rajesh Sharma national marketing manager of General Automotive Company noted 'Customers want cars that really perform have a strong personality and which offer a value price point; each of the Mitsubishi vehicles on display do so in each of their respective classes. The motor show provides the perfect platform for us to showcase Mistubishi's versatile and stylish product range. In addition the stand will play host to numerous activities for the whole family to enjoy.'
Visitors wanting a more hands-on experience can head to a dedicated driving zone installed to give the Mitsubishi area an interactive edge. A digital racing simulator complete with a big-screen racing seat steering wheel and virtual controls will be available for racing fans to try out.
For a more family-oriented experience and placing special emphasis on the customers of the future i.e. the children who visit the Motor Show Oman Mitsubishi will be organising a special area for children to showcase their artistic talents by trying their hand at painting some iconic Mitsubishi vehicles. In addition Mitsubishi will also be organising a special raffle draw with cash prizes being given out to attendees at the stand.
Alongside its many show floor activities Mitsubishi will also be launching a special month-long Instagram competition for all Motor Show Oman visitors and fans. All one has to do is take a selfie alongside any giant Mitsubishi logo either the ones that adorn the sides of the Mitsubishi display or one created by themselves and post it online on Instagram tagged with #mitsubishioman. All entries will be entered into a special raffle draw that will be conducted at the end of the year which will see three entries win a special prize from GAC.
Aside from the activities planned at the Motor Show GAC will also be taking registrations for the upcoming Team Pajero Adventure at the Mitsubishi Stand on the show floor.
Scheduled to take place over three batched on each of the three weekends between December 12 19 and 27 the Team Pajero Desert Adventure is aimed at giving Pajero owners and enthusiasts a real-world driving experience in challenging off-road conditions in a safe and secure environment.
The Team Pajero Adventure provides owners with a chance to drive over the dunes and find out just how capable the legendary Pajero is at tackling the most demanding desert terrain and conditions.
