China's industrial profits dip 2.1 percent in October


(MENAFN) According to the Chinese National Bureau of Statistics, China's industrial businesses profits dropped by 2.1 percent in October to USD94.34 billion, QNA reported.

Profits rose 0.4 percent in September, decreased by 0.6 percent in August and gained 13.5 percent in July year on year, according to China's (Xinhua) News Agency.

The total profits of industrial companies during the January-October reached USD804.64 billion, up 6.7 percent on year. However, growth decelerated by 1.2 percent from the January-September period.

Coal mining profits declined 45.2 percent on year. Private firms saw relatively stable profit growth at 8.7 percent for January-October. Profits of state-owned enterprises dropped 1.2 percent on year in the first ten months.
