Royal Commission in Jubail, Shell sign MoU


(MENAFN) The Royal Commission in Jubail announced it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Shell to cooperate on dealing with the technical and operational issues and challenges, which are faced by companies in the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu industrial cities, Arab News reported.

Under the MoU, Shell will advise the Royal Commission in Jubail in dealing with its challenges due to Shell's local and global technological and operational experts in the fields of optimization and improvement of processes, services and operations.

The Royal Commission in Jubail said it has been proactively collaborating along with the Yanbu industrial cities and all of their industrial partners to improve energy efficiency and environmental management to ensure the sustainable development of its cities.

The Royal Commission in Jubail, said that it believes that this agreement for co-operation is a step in the right direction toward addressing the future challenges of 'Energy Master Planning' through knowledge transfer.
