Kuwait- 'Oblivious' Lovers Army Officer Held With Drugs, Fake ID


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Intelligence officers at the Kuwaiti army have arrested one of its members in possession of drugs and for allegedly forging original identification documents, reports Al-Rai daily. According to a source, a Kuwaiti military officer was arrested in possession of a quantity of drugs, after investigations were conducted by the intelligence service in the Kuwaiti army regarding the use of narcotic substances.

The source explained that the officers also found identification documents with his image and name with the suspect. When they studied the documents, they discovered that the identity card was different from that he uses in Kuwait. Intensive investigations and coordination with the Ministry of Interior revealed that he also holds Saudi citizenship. The officer was referred to the concerned authorities for further investigations.

'Oblivious' lovers: A Kuwaiti couple was arrested for making out inside a vehicle that was parked in an open ground in front of a school in Jabriya area, reports Al-Kuwaitiah daily. Police rushed to the location after receiving several calls from passersby and caught the couple in the act

Sleeping girl found drunk: An unidentified girl has been arrested for consuming alcohol and possessing drugs, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. According to a security source, patrolling officers noticed the girl sleeping in her car and the smell of alcohol emanating from her. They checked the vehicle to find a piece of hashish, a sachet of methamphetamine and a bottle of alcohol.

Foreign liquor seized: An Arab expatriate was arrested in possession of four bottles of imported liquor, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. When Farwaniya securitymen received several complaints about the Arab national's illegal activities, they placed him under surveillance and arrested him in possession of four bottles of liquor. In addition, securitymen also arrested two Bedoun men in possession of six imported whisky bottles and KD 1,250 cash. All three suspects were referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them.
