(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Reality TV juggernaut Kim Kardashian promoting her new fragrance in Dubai reveals shed love to open a hotel here one day.
The controversial reality star touched down in the UAE on Friday still basking in the enormous hype generated by her nude photoshoot earlier this month which she hoped would “break the internet”.
After partying at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix over the weekend and going yachting and dune bashing in Dubai – all scrupulously documented online to her combined 48 million Twitter and Instagram followers – Kim got down to business.

The 34-year-old unveiled her seventh fragrance to date ‘Fleur Fatale’ at the official opening of Dubai’s 20000 square foot Parfum Monde store by Sheikh Zayed Road. The fragrance combines notes including blackcurrant tea rose and sandalwood and comes in a bottle shaped like a white rose.
At a press conference to launch the product Kim explained that the scent was inspired by her pregnancy with daughter North now 17 months old.
“When I was pregnant I really couldn’t stand any strong fragrance” explained Kim who married North’s father rapper Kanye West in Italy in May.
“After I had the baby everyone started to send me roses and I became obsessed with the scent. I knew I wanted to create something that was a little lighter and had that really heavy rose scent.”
CROSSING BORDERS
The eldest of the Kardashian siblings began her international promotional trip for the perfume in Australia on Sunday November 16.
She was then due to visit India and make a guest appearance on the hugely popular reality series Bigg Boss but an undisclosed visa issue prevented her from entering the country.
Using a famous “peaks and pits” analogy from reality series Keeping up with the Kardashians Kim explained “The pit (of this trip) has been that we didn’t get to make it to India. I really wanted to go so we’re rescheduling that.”
Kim who last visited Dubai in 2011 again opted to stay at the Atlantis Hotel on the Palm Jumeirah this week – where she allegedly roomed in a Dhs129000 per night suite.
“Every time I come to Dubai I just feel more and more welcomed. I love it here and I can’t wait to come back” she said. “I collect fragrance and the prettiest bottles are from Dubai. I think it would be fun to make a fragrance just for the Middle East.”
However Kim also conceded that she was homesick and missing baby North who remained in Los Angeles with the rest of the sizeable Kardashian clan.
“All those plane flights would be too long for my daughter when she could play at home with her cousins and her dad” said Kim.
“I’m excited to go and see North tomorrow. I would love to bring her (to the UAE) – my next trip I have to. I think she would love it so much.
Talking about her plans for 2015 Kim said she aimed not to spread herself too thin with her ever-growing empire that includes TV shows brand endorsements a money-spinning mobile phone app and her own range of beauty products.
However she also expressed interest in launching a Kardashian-themed restaurant or hotel in the UAE at some point in the future.
“I’ve had a couple of offers to do that” she said. “I think it would be so much fun to do a Kardashian hotel with my sisters. It’s not in the works but it would be something we should think about.”
