Royal Commission in Jubail and Shell deepen cooperation

(MENAFNEditorial) The Royal Commission in Jubail and Shell have signed a 'Memorandum of Understanding' (MOU) to address the technical and operational issues and challenges faced by companies in the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu industrial cities.

Through its 'Environmental Management Program' the Royal Commission in Jubail and Yanbu has been proactively collaborating with all of its industrial partners to improve energy efficiency and environmental management to ensure the sustainable development of its cities. The MOU will help the Royal Commission in Jubail to seek advisory support from Shell who has local as well as global technological and operational expertise relating to the optimization and improvement of processes, services and operations.

Dr. Mosleh H. Al-Otaibi, CEO of the Royal Commission in Jubail and Mr. Patrick Van Daele, Vice President and Country Chairman for the Shell Companies in Saudi Arabia believe that this agreement for co-operation, signed in Jubail, is a step in the right direction towards addressing the future challenges of 'Energy Master Planning' through knowledge transfer.
