Kuwait- Gang Held For Stealing, Selling Cars Outside After Alterations


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Three Kuwaiti citizens, a Bedoun and a GCC expatriate have been arrested for stealing luxury vehicles and selling them outside the country after changing their number plates and forging the vehicle registration documents, reports Al-Shahed daily. Jahra securitymen arrested three suspects after they were caught driving a stolen car. They later guided the police to their other two accomplices. The gang admitted to stealing nine vehicles while a police source affirmed that the thieves have links with gangs in some neighboring countries.

Kuwaiti arrested: A Kuwaiti citizen was arrested as he was wanted by law for not paying debts worth KD 19,000, and for consuming alcohol, reports Al-Anba daily. According to a security source, policemen at Al-Qurain Police station noticed that the citizen was drunk when he went to the station to ask about a friend. They checked his records and discovered that he was wanted by law for non-payment of debts worth KD 19,000. Meanwhile, an unidentified expatriate was arrested at Shuwaikh Industrial Area as he was wanted by law for issuing dud cheques worth KD 12,000, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. Securitymen arrested the expatriate after receiving a tip-off about his whereabouts
