For his part, the Yemeni Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullah Al Saaidi lauded the GCC support for Yemen unity, independence, and stability.
He stressed in his speech that this ministerial meeting is very important especially as it takes place under difficult circumstances in the region in general and Yemen in particular , expressing his regret over the exaggerated media reporting about events in Yemen .
He said that Yemen is now well under way on an important national dialogue with the participation of all political trends in order to build a federal State and maintain , security and stability of the country, pointing out that the events taking place in Yemen are accumulations of previous broke the tension and attempts to drag the country into war with parties with an interest in fuelling conflict and instability in Yemen.
He added: "We've dealt with it wisely to miss an opportunity for Yemen to evil", praising the partnership and peace agreement to restore security, peace and stability of the country.
