Hyundai, Kia to raise 2014 sales target in China


(MENAFN) Hyundai Motor Co. and its affiliate, Kia Motors Corp., raised their combined sales target in China this year by 5.8 percent, fueled by better-than-expected sales in the world's biggest auto market, Yonhap News.

Hyundai and Kia eye to sell 1.81 million vehicles in China this year, compared with their previous target of 1.71 million vehicles.

During the first 10 months of 2014, Hyundai and Kia sold about 1.42 million vehicles, up 10.5 percent from the same period last year.
