(MENAFN) According to Russia's foreign minister, the country is calling for a free trade zone between the European Union (EU) and the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), Xinhua reported.
"It is time after all to arrange dialogue between the EEU and the EU. The EEU will be a very important element to build the bridge between Europe and the Asia-Pacific region," he said.
The suggestion will be brought up at a ministerial council meeting of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe in December in Basel, Switzerland.
