Turkish Airlines to add 10 African destinations to its network


(MENAFN) Turkish Airlines announced adding up to ten new African cities to its network next year as it looks to strengthen its position in the continent, Gulf News reported.

The carrier is looking at five more cities between South Africa and the Democratic Republic of the Congo in Africa on top of the five already announced for 2015 and adding them to the already-existing 44 destinations.

Africa has been Turkish Airlines strongest growth market of late, however, Europe remains its largest passenger market, president and chief executive of the cargo said in a statement.
