(MENAFN- Arab Times) A Jordanian pharmacist of Farwaniya hospital was arrested for raping an unidentified woman in her 20s who suffers from a mental ailment that makes her think and behave like a little girl, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
Reportedly, the pharmacist befriended the girl through a social networking website and lured her to meet him, after which he took her to an isolated location and raped her.
The victim, who was unaware of the seriousness of what was done to her, informed her family who were shocked and lodged a complaint at the Public Prosecution.
Securitymen from Salwa Police Station arrested the rapist and referred him to concerned authorities for necessary legal action against him.
Meanwhile, two individuals € a Bedoun and a Canadian € were arrested for consuming and possessing drugs, reports Annahar daily. The two addicts were seized at a security checkpoint in Jahra Industrial Area.
