S. Korea's terms of trade up for two straight months in October


(MENAFN) Data showed that South Korea's terms of trade surged in October for the second consecutive month as import prices declined sharply an oppose to export prices, QNA reported.

The October figures marked a quicker growth compared with September when the index rose 0.6 percent, snapping a four-month fall, according to South Korea's (Yonhap) New Agency.

The country's net terms-of-trade index for goods reached 90.46 last month, rising 1.3 percent from the previous year, according to the preliminary data by the Bank of Korea (BOK).
