(MENAFN) Etihad Rail announced it has signed an operations and maintenance agreement with Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc), Gulf News reported.
Etihad Rail said that the agreement was signed particularly for the first phase of its project to construct a 264 kilometer route for the transportation of sulphur.
Under the terms of the agreement, which is signed for a 30 years period, Etihad Rail will be responsible for the maintenance and management of the rail's facilities and the transportation of sulphur, while Adnoc will have the responsibility of loading sulphur and unloading it at the treatment plants.
