Putin does not rule out serving a fourth term
(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Russian President Vladimir Putin might stand for
another six-year term in 2018, he said in an interview released
Sunday, dpa reported.
'The term of my work is limited by the constitution,' Putin told the
Tass state news agency, adding that he would not remain president
forever.
'This would not be right for the country and I do not need it,' he
said.
The Russian constitution allows the president to serve two
consecutive terms. Putin served two four-year terms between 2000 and
2008.
