(MENAFN- QNA) Yemen's Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Mohamed Mutahar met here on Sunday with US ambassador to Yemen Matthew Tueller.
During the meeting, the meeting they discussed bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them in various field, especially in higher education and scientific research areas, according to the Yemen news agency.
They touched upon the possibility of assisting Yemeni students, who have scholarships and facilitate the procedures for granting them entry visas to study in the US.
For his part, the US ambassador expressed his optimism of improving the political situation in Yemen, confirming his commitment to convey the ministry's request over additional scholarships to the concerned bodies in the United States.
