Qatar- Attorney General Meets Iranian Judiciary Chief


(MENAFN- QNA) HE the Attorney General Dr. Ali bin Fetais Al-Marri met here today with Judiciary Chief in the Islamic Republic of Iran Amoli Larijani at the outset of a visit he is paying to Iran at an invitation extended to him.

The two sides discussed a host of issues of mutual concern, in addition to means of strengthening judicial and legal cooperation between the two neighbouring countries.

The meeting was attended on the Iranian side by Chairman of the Human Rights Committee and Assistant Attorney General Ali Sadeq Larijani, in addition to directors of Iranian legal departments.

Dr. Al-Marri also met with Iranian Attorney General Ibrahim Ribisi to discuss joint issues and future cooperation between offices of the attorneys general in each of Doha and Tehran.

The two meetings were attended by Qatar's Ambassador to Iran Ali bin Hamad Al-Sulaiti and members of the delegation accompanying HE the Attorney General.
