(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Liz Moscrop the editor of Inflight magazine has been named as the overall winner of the Oman Air Media Awards UK 2014. The announcement was made at a ceremony held on Oman Air's stand at World Travel Market in London.
In addition Moscrop won the 'Best article about Oman Air' category of the awards. The 'Best article about Oman Air's sports sponsorship' award went to Kate Laven of the Sunday Telegraph the 'Best blog article about Oman' award was won by Iain Mallory of Mallory on Travel and the 'Best print article about Oman' award went to Lyn Hughes editor of travel magazine Wanderlust.
Moscrop was presented with her award by H E Maitha bint Saif al Mahrouqi Undersecretary in the Ministry of Tourism and deputy chairman of Oman Air. The ceremony was also attended by senior managers from Oman Air together with guests from the media and the travel trade.
The winners of each category received a framed certificate and a presentation case containing traditional silver jewellery hand-crafted in the Sultanate of Oman. In addition as overall winner of the awards Liz Moscrop received a prize of a long weekend for two in the Omani capital of Muscat including business class flights from London.
