(MENAFN- Arab Times) A gang of eight individuals have been arrested for selling fake Kuwaiti passports to Bedouns who desire to travel to European countries, reports Al-Anba daily. According to sources, when security authorities of some European countries informed the concerned Kuwaiti authorities about the fake Kuwaiti passports possessed by some Bedoun people from Kuwait, securitymen carried out investigations and arrested the eight suspects.
Further investigations are ongoing with the gang. Meanwhile, a female employee of Airport Passports Department has refused a bribe of KD 2,500 offered by four Bedoun individuals for allowing them to leave Kuwait and travel to a European country on forged Kuwaiti passports, reports Al-Rai daily.
The four Bedouns belonging to one family were arrested after the officer refused to accept the bribe and notified the airport security officials. The suspects were referred to Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station where a case was registered against them.
