Human Rights Watch Demands Israel to Immediately Stop Punitive House Demolition Policy against Palestinians

(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency)  Human Rights Watch, an international non-governmental organization that conducts research and advocacy on human rights, demanded Saturday that Israel immediately stop the punitive policy of demolishing family homes of Palestinians suspected of being involved in attacks against Israelis.
According to WAFA, €ÅIsrael should impose an immediate moratorium on its policy of demolishing the family homes of Palestinians suspected of carrying out attacks on Israelis,€€Œ said the human rights organization in a press release.
Contrary to Israeli claims that this policy is intended to deter such incidents, the human rights organization noted that it €Ådeliberately and unlawfully punishes people not accused of any wrongdoing,€€Œ and that €Åwhen carried out in occupied territory, including East Al-Quds, it amounts to collective punishment and a war crime.€€Œ
